A BRIEF OVERVIEW
One panel per award category consisting of four industry professionals and one media member from around the world (at least one must reside outside of North America) initially work together through a voting forum to determine the four final nominees in their assigned award category. Their decision must be a unanimous one made by all 5 Jurors together. The Head Juror then sends their panel's final four nominee names directly to the 2010 ELAN Award's Auditor. Each Juror then becomes a Judge by individually and privately sending their selection for the winner of their category out of their panel's final 4 nominees directly to the ELAN Award's Auditor. The 2010 ELAN Awards Auditor tallies the votes and arranges for the trophy plaques and the winning envelopes to be produced in secret until they are announced at the 2010 ELAN Awards Ceremony on Monday, July 19, 2010.
